PO-02-037 NOVEL BIOMARKERS PREDICT RECURRENCE OF ATRIAL FIBRILLATION AFTER CATHETER ABLATION

چکیده
Clinical risk factors associated with recurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF) after catheter ablation are well known; biomarkers may improve outcome prediction beyond known clinical characteristics. To investigate the role cardiovascular and inflammatory in predicting AF ablation. We approached a subset patients who were scheduled to have for at Inova from 3/20 5/22 participate this prospective longitudinal study. Baseline variables, quality life scores, blood samples collected. Subjects followed one year post at3,6 12 months. Recurrence was defined as: related symptoms, any lasting ≥30 seconds or more, present on 12-lead ECG. Blood analyzed 92 CV using Olink CVD III panel. Random Forest, sure independence screening correlation plots utilized pre-screen importance modeling. Generalize linear models (GLM) tree-based then constructed patients’ baseline characteristics only, adding proteins importance. 75 (57.3% paroxysmal AF) underwent radiofrequency (64.0%) cryoablation participated. 24.0% subjects had recurrent AF. The factors, race, diabetes, hypertension, obesity selected by best tree model (misclassification rate 31%), while race only significant marginal predictors GLM (residual deviance 89.62 AIC 95.62). In combined variables proteins, BMI, heart failure (P=0.00027, 0.044, 0.046 respectively). And aminopeptidase N, galactin 4, ST2 found be strongly (P=0.0018, 0.007 0.0023, Forest showed that N strongest predictor. addition improved ability predict both (reduced residual 49.61) misclassification 31% 14%). Proteins, specifically can help factors.

Predictors of late recurrence of atrial fibrillation after catheter ablation.
BACKGROUND To predict the recurrence of atrial fibrillation is important for selecting patients who will be undergoing catheter ablation, several studies respectively evaluated the risk factor of the recurrence of atrial fibrillation post-ablation. OBJECTIVE To investigate the factors predicting the recurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF) after catheter ablation. METHODS 186 patients (55.12 ...
متن کاملNovel P Wave Indices to Predict Atrial Fibrillation Recurrence After Radiofrequency Ablation for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation
BACKGROUND Circumferential pulmonary vein isolation (CPVI) is a widely used treatment for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF). Several P wave duration (PWD) parameters have been suggested to predict post-ablation recurrence, but their use remains controversial. This study aimed to identify novel P wave indices that predict post-ablation AF recurrence. MATERIAL AND METHODS We selected 171 consec...
متن کاملPredictors of Recurrence After Catheter Ablation of Persistent Atrial Fibrillation.
Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF) has been increasingly used to treat symptomatic patients.Within the last years a growing interest in ablation of persistent AF forms has evolved.Factors that may influence outcome of these procedures to treat persistent AF may be patient-specific (pre-procedural),procedure-related or may involve different post-ablation followup strategies. In this r...
متن کاملLeft atrial strain predicts recurrence of atrial arrhythmias after catheter ablation of persistent atrial fibrillation
INTRODUCTION Success rates of catheter ablation (CA) of persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) are very variable. Identifying patients in whom sinus rhythm maintenance cannot be achieved after CA is a critical issue. METHODS 2D speckle-tracking echocardiography was performed before the first CA procedure in consecutive patients with persistent AF. Left atrial (LA) strain was correlated with recu...
